Sumner County Emergency Management Agency By law the Sumner County Emergency Management Agency is directed to be the lead agency for managing any disaster in Sumner County. Through the guidance and leadership of Director Ken Weidner, we manage the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) when activated due to a disaster or emergency. The EOC is the heart of large scale incidents and emergencies that is staffed by key personnel from involved communities. These personnel work together under the National Incident Management System in effort to manage the incident and provide for the safety of citizens by coordinated responses and thorough mitigation.The purpose of the Sumner County Long Term Recovery committee is to coordinate the delivery of long term recovery assistance to the victims of a major disaster. This involves multiple agencies, including governmental entities, not-for-profit agencies, community, civic and service groups, religious, and educational organizations, etc.

Gallatin Leisure Services Department Commonly referred to as the Parks and Recreation Department, Leisure Services responsibilities include the Civic Center, Gallatin City Cemetery, as well as the Parks and Recreation Division. The Civic Center unit is the core of active Gallatin life, offering fitness areas, meeting rooms, a double gym, indoor pool, and racquetball courts, all with reasonable fees to allow Gallatin residents to enjoy the facilities.
