I hope you and your husband are well. It was a pleasure to meet you both a few weeks ago. I did follow-up with Michael O’Neill and listed my property at North Avondale for him to manage. Last Thursday evening, his Property Manager, Jeremy, called me with good news. They found a couple to lease the house and they moved in over the weekend. They are leasing it for $900 w/a $500 deposit. They are a middle-aged couple w/3 adopted children.

Prior to it being leased, I had it cleaned up, pressure washed, and the deck stained so it really does look much better. This reduces my stress level tremendously. I also told Jeremy to share with them that the house is available for purchase if they are interested.

Hi Karen,

I just wanted to let you and anyone that you want to share this with to know that I was extremely pleased with you during my home buying process.

Thanks for being available on Easter day to meet with me. Even though the overall housing market has been mentioned in the news as being in slack times, this is not true in the historic areas in Nashville. Finding a good home is very competitive. The realtor I was using decided to take Easter weekend off. If you had not been available, then someone else would have beat me to getting a contract on my home. Also, on Easter day, you did not rush me so that you could get back to your holiday. You took a lot of time with me and showed me other homes, talked about the house I wanted, and the overall buying experience.

During the signing process, you were great at explaining each paper. Again, you could have rushed through, but did not.

During the contract period, you were great at keeping me on the schedule you had set. You also answered emails and phone calls promptly. There were times that your assistant called on your behalf, but I really appreciate that you still called me to make sure everything went well at the times I dealt with your assistant. You could have just delegated and not followed through, but that was not the case. Also during the contract period, you really wanted the structural problem corrected before closing. That was a great example of your passsion towards historic preservation.

At closing, you were great at the table with the attorney. You knew just when to put on the breaks so that different documents could have been explained better. Your additional comments were very helpful. You could have decided to not intervene so that yall could get done quicker, but as usual, time was not a factor to you.

During the whole process I had a lot of faith in you since you know the contracts and I don't. I always felt like you were watching over my best interests as if I was a close family member.

And as a personal observation, I admire your work as a mother. I could tell that your kids were more important to you than real estate by the way you spoke of them and that all your hard work was dedicated to them. It was great to see them in the office and taking an interest in the business. Good luck to them on getting out of college and through high school.

I could continue with compliments, but I think this covers a major part of the realtor-client relationship we had.

Karen Hoff and her organization are the one's to choose if you are buying or selling your home. I've worked with Karen on both experiences. First she helped me find the "right" home for me and helped me through everything from start to closing. Something I appreciated as even though it was my third home purchase, it was the first one as a single woman.

Seven years late due to a business move I was in the position of having to sell my wonderful home. I called Karen and a couple of other realtors for the purpose of listing my home.
